MemeScan

How the number is made

A score with the gaps left visible.

MemeScan adds risk points only when a check ran and came back concerning. Passes add nothing. Unavailable checks add nothing, and they also do not count as clean. The total is capped at 100. Higher means more concern, not a higher chance the token is “safe.”

On Solana the score is withheld unless mint authority, freeze authority, and holder concentration all return data. On EVM it is withheld unless a honeypot result and an owner address come back. Those are the essential checks. Everything else changes coverage and confidence.

Confidence is high when at least 80% of checks ran, medium from 55%, and low below that. If an essential check is missing, confidence is insufficient and the dial says withheld.

Launchpad names require evidence: a pump.fun bonding-curve account owned by the pump program, a Raydium LaunchLab index row, a Clanker or Virtuals index hit, a Four.meme API hit, or an EIP-1167 clone of a Four.meme template observed on their markets. A DexScreener venue label is shown and then ignored for attribution.

Creator means the pubkey stored on a bonding curve, the wallet in a launchpad index, or the deployer GoPlus indexed. A transaction fee payer and a metadata update authority are not promoted to “the dev” on their own.

Full weights live in lib/weights.ts and are what the scanners add. A clean report can still be a bad trade. This page is the rule sheet, not a promise.
